Michaela Knudsen

Michaela is the owner of MICFit Fitness Training, and has been a Personal Trainer for 15 years. She is a Gymstick muscle Instructor, Pre and Post natal Exercise specialist and more recently a functional mobility Trainer. She was the finalist in New Zealand Fitness awards For studio and Personal trainer. Everyone is so unique, Michaela enjoys creating the right workout for her clients. She has the ability to help her clients achieve their goals, while challenging their body and minds, and overcoming their beliefs in what they think they are capable of. Outside of work it is family time, adventures and exploring the amazing  New Zealand outdoors. 

Maria Teresa Stone

Maria Teresa grew up dancing in Mexico and has been actively working in the fitness industry since 1996, teaching a range of group fitness classes. Maria Teresa was instrumental in the successful launch of Zumba® in 2009 in both New Zealand and Australia.  Maria Teresa was inducted to the Roll of honour by Fitness Australia in 2016 for her contribution to the fitness industry, having trained over 10,000 of instructors across the Australasia region. Maria Teresa is the co-founder of www.mygroupmove.com an online platform that trains instructors, she is also the creator of Powerful YOU an online exercise program for women. Passionate about holistic health, she is a certified gut health and well-being coach, and is the co-founder of the 18 days to well-being program along with her sister Eliza Stone.

Kim Churton

Originally working as a Speech and Language Therapist for many years, Kim took a side step into the health, fitness and wellbeing field after having kids. She completed a Masters in Health Management whilst living in the UK and gained qualifications in group fitness after returning to Christchurch. Kim has been a group fitness instructor for nearly 10 years and currently teaches Pilates, Yoga and Barre within the West Melton Community. She also contracts to the Department of Corrections where she delivers an award winning Health and Wellbeing Programme which focuses on improving both physical and mental health. A proportion of her online membership fees are donated to Pillars, a charity which supports the tamariki and whānau of those in prison.
